Loot Box Probability Disclosure
Last updated: April 18, 2026
Some Techno Feudal cosmetics are sold in randomized containers ("Loot Boxes" or "Crates"). This page discloses the probability of receiving each item type, in line with Apple App Store guideline 3.1.1, Chinese regulations on online games, and EU consumer transparency standards.
1. What is in a Loot Box?
Each Loot Box opens to grant one or more cosmetic items in different rarity tiers. Loot Boxes never contain items that affect gameplay balance — only visual customization (avatars, frames, emotes, datacenter skins, victory animations).
2. Drop rates (per item slot)
These are placeholder rates pending final balancing. The final published rates will be displayed in-app before purchase and disclosed here at launch.
| Rarity | Drop chance |
|---|---|
| Common | 70.00% |
| Rare | 20.00% |
| Epic | 8.00% |
| Legendary | 2.00% |
3. Pity / guarantee system
We plan to include a "pity" mechanism so that players are guaranteed at least one Epic-or-better item every N boxes, with the value of N shown in-app. Final values will be published before launch.
4. Duplicates
If you receive a cosmetic you already own, it is converted into an in-game cosmetic currency at a published exchange rate. Loot Boxes never grant the same Legendary item more than once.
5. Where you can see drop rates in-app
Drop rates are shown on every Loot Box purchase screen and on the item rarity legend within the cosmetics shop.
6. Regional notes
- Belgium and the Netherlands: paid Loot Boxes are not offered for sale in these regions. Players can still earn equivalent free containers through gameplay.
- China: additional disclosure beyond this page is provided in the Chinese-localized client to comply with local regulations.
7. Refunds
Loot Boxes are non-refundable once opened. See Refund Policy.
